Cheap Android Tablet

I just need a simple tablet that I can surf the web and some apps like Clash of Clans. Price: cheap as possible without being a crappy tablet.

There is no shortage of ~$100 tablets that should be good enough for general web usage. If you want something "not crappy" though, the bar raises to $200 which buys you only marginally better specs for brand-name tablets.

For higher performance stuff, you have to open your wallet another $100 wider for the ~$300 K1-based Shield Tab. Beyond that, the bang-per-buck drops off a cliff.

Well the thing is I have a $300 tablet right now. I'm selling it because I use it so rarely. But I still want to have something for my casual use.

Unless you manage to sell your current tablet for close to what you paid for and do not mind buying a no-name tablet, you are only going to save about $100 from downgrading. It might not be worth the hassle.

yeah, I wouldn't bother selling to downgrade. it's the exact opposite of sensible.
