[SOLVED] cheap x570, or older but higher tier x470 for Ryzen 5 3600 with 3600mhz ram?

I'm looking to build a new gaming PC but am stuck on either spending $160 or so on a cheap x570 board, or spending around the same on a Asus Prime x470 Pro Motherboard.
I'm trying to pair it with a Ryzen 5 3600 and 3600mhz ram. The main thing I'm concerned about is how I'm gonna get the bios updated, but with the x570 it would work right out of the box and have support for the higher speed ram. Any thoughts?

it's all about features. if the lower end x570 has what you need, then no reason to fight with an older board. if you need the features of the other board, then you'll have to go through AMD's program more than likely to get it updated. they offer loaner cpu's so you can update the bios for the newer chip.
