im planning to get into 4k gaming soon but with this monitor http://www.microcenter.com/product/437546/B286HK_28_4K_UHD_Monitor

i only got like about 150$ish to spend i want a gpu that should be compatible with my Gateway DX4870 computer and that should be able to play games like cs go and warframe at 4k. I was thinking about a Diamond Radeon hd 7970 or a gtx 680 but im not sure if the micro center near me has them. Any reconmmendations?

The R9 270X is more powerful than the GTX 750Ti and would give higher average FPS than it. Might be worth investing in it instead of the 750Ti just to be able to enjoy the game a bit more.

I can say that CS:GO is a very competitive game, all the CS have been. When I played I always had an advantage because I always had more than enough hardware to play it maxed out and get well above 60FPS average. I remember pissing people off using dual DEagle .50s in CS:S. Was fun.
Those cards aren't enough and they're discontinued, really minimum you'll want a GTX 970 or R9 290/390 but they'll be considerably more than $150. Additionally the PSU in that computer won't be good enough.

As long as you're happy with 30FPS you may be able to get by with a GTX 960 or R9 380 if you don't mind low/med detail. Again these will be more than $150

i got a evga 600b

im not planning to try to play witcher 2 or metro last light a 4k here and 30fps is reasonable enough for me
