So I have a gaming rig and I plan on migrating a lot of the parts when Haswell arrives, for know though I have ivy bridge parts in place of the Haswell stuff
I already have a part list together but its built around Ivy bridge as of now.
I mainly play games on my rig (so yes I know you're gonna hate the i7 but i really want one). I am a chemical engineering major though so I wouldn't be surprised if I had to do some heavy processing in the future.

This is all gonna go in the Corsair Vengeance C70 i already have and I'll throw my GTX 670 FTW 2GB and My sound card in there with it.
I'll be using my OCZ ModxStream 600w Psu

Old rig is gonna be
Core 2 Quad q9300 @3.2GHz depending on my mood :p
Coolermaster V8
Gigabyte EP43-UD3L
8GB G.Skill DDR2-1066
MSI 1GB GTX 460 HAWK TALON ATTACK
OCZ Vertex 2 60GB
Seagate 1TB 7200RPM
Seagate 250GB 7200RPM
OCZ StealthXstream 500w

Would appreciate your opinions on what I should do here, I already know your gonna tell me to go with an i5 instead of the 3770k, Will be watercooling the new rig and i've never done that before, any advice, I move it quite a bit as I'm in college?
Also the CM690 would be for the old rig and I'm curious if you guys think I should look at any other cases (gonna be working with the HAF XB soon and have thought about getting it instead)

Well, custom cooler are also way more expensive, that an h100i. He might be able to overclock a little better.

so he should buy a h100i fisher price water cooler instead of a real liquid cooler that will yield 10*c better temps?

OP i think everything looks good to me.

But that's not a real custom loop either - that's just a block and a pump, you need way more parts to make it a fully custom loop - the H100i isn't really any different. I'm normally against closed liquid loops - don't get me wrong - but the H100i looks very promising because of the Corsairlink software. The only reason I included it is for that.
