Its a playable DEMO / Visulaztion... cool.

Programmed by stoned coders... best played with stoned.

Reminds me of the early days of 3DFx games which really PUMPED up the color.

Am I the only one who thinks that this could have been done with a mouse on PC?
Kinect motion controller does not seem to add any new gameplay innovation in this case.

@sidran32: As you tried it, could you let us know if anything more than 2D movement(left/right-up/down) is used in this game?
If it is not more than that, it could have been done better with a mouse or even a wiimote ...

I'd like to see some really innovative good games/programs using Kinect possibilities.

You've obviously never played Counter Strike. 150ms lag is HORRIBLE and will get you killed constantly in a decent game. That much lag makes people have to use "prefire", shooting before their target is actually in place to compensate for the lag.

They said that while it is a Kinect game, you can use it with a standard controller as well.

As it's an on-rails shooter, you get about as much motion control as in Time Crisis. You can do a little "lean", that is, nudge the screen a little bit (I believe), but you don't control the movement. You basically shoot things on the screen with your arms.

The thing about some of these Kinect games is that they are more the casual play type. This game definitely is, not like Counter Strike. It's more of an arcadey type of casual game. That isn't to say that it can't be used for non-casual games, but I think there's a place for games like this as well. For a shooter, especially as the first real shooter on the Kinect, I think this looks good and it plays well.

I posted this from PAX East of the gameplay as it stands now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmS7qybj3Ys

I pre-ordered it, for the record.
