[SOLVED] CHKDSK scanning the wrong hard drive?

I was wondering, does CHKDSK scan the largest drive connected to one's PC first? I ran the command not too long ago, and for some reason it scanned my external HDD (which is much larger than the internal), instead of my main internal HDD, on C:\

Is this normal perhaps?

"If you don’t select a drive, chkdsk will run on the currently selected drive. You can specify the drive using the drive letter, or for NTFS drives, you can specify the path of the directory that includes another disk. "

Thanks for your reply! I've stumbled on something like this before making this thread, but I didn't 'select' or specify the directory for/with the command, hence why I was kind of puzzled by the outcome 🤔
