Why the "CoolMaster" PSU?

I found a couple reviews on this unit and they rated it good, but they did not appear to be really exhaustive reviews such as the ones found at JohnnyGuru.com. (I.E., the PSU was not taken apart to examine the capacitors used, how it handle heat, etc.. etc.. etc...) It looks nice and my be nice, but in this price range, there are a number of PSUs that are equally nice but with a stronger reputation.

In regards to motherboards, I would leave to the P35 boards.

The main reason is that they seem a little faster than the 965 boards at the same settings. The 965 boards are also a little faster than the 975s at the same speed. As a result you should definately get a speed advantage that is measurable.

The P35 should also run a little cooler and support the new 45nm chips.
While you may still want a whole new mobo with those chips so you can do DDR3, it would still be nice to have the choice to upgrade the cpu, mobo, and ram or just the cpu.

I'm still hesitant to recommend any P35 board until I see lots of posts of people before me use them. It's one thing for a hand-picked board from a manufacturer to test well vs what really goes into the channel.
