I'm looking at two different laptops right now,

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215245
and
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834246328

they both have radeon 6550M cards but one is 1gb the other is 2gb (I don't expext my laptops to do incredible gaming, I do most of my gaming on my desktop anyhow)

The main difference between them is the processor.

one has an AMD A6-3420M(1.5GHz) 4mb L2 cache

the other has an intel i5 2430M(2.40GHz) 3mb L3 cache

the difference in price is $150

what would the difference in frames per second be between the two? games like skyrim and left 4 dead 2 for examples

thanks in advance

personally I would go with the I5. For $150 you get almost a Ghz more processor speed plus the difference in processing ability the I5 has over the A6. It would take the A6 about a minute and a half to run super pi. It would take the i5 just 30 seconds.

You'd also get another gig of gpu ram.
