[SOLVED] Choosing an SSD - - - - Samsung 970 Evo Plus or Crucial P3 Plus ?

Hi everyone, this is the first time I am doing a "modification" to my laptop and I am slightly confused about which product to buy.
I have a HP pavilion gaming laptop - 15dk0040nl with PCIe 3.0 and after four years, my SSD has started to give problems.
The estimated remaining life is 4%, so I would like to change it as soon as possible.
Doing various research I was recommended these two:

• Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB
• Crucial P3 Plus 1TB

Which one do you recommend?

I have the P3 Plus 2TB and it works fine in my build as my os and gaming drive.

Thank you for your reply, another doubt I have is compatibility.
The Crucial P3 Plus is a PCIe 4.0 version but my laptop supports PCIe 3.0, could I still mount it without problems?

Yes.
They are forward/backward compatible.

Of course, you'd only see 3.0 performance. But for a single drive in a laptop, you will not notice.
