[SOLVED] Choosing between R7 250 or HD 7750

The specific cards in question are MSI R7 250 1GB GDDR5 OC and Sapphire HD 7750 OC 1GB GDDR5.

I'm building an experimental PC and I want specifically one of these two cards. Both are offered for the same price and look pretty similar from what I've seen online.

Is there an advantage of getting one over the other or do they perform pretty much the same?

I'm leaning more towards the R7 250 because the listing is less sketchy and it's a slightly newer card.

I tend to agree with your assessment.
I have/had an AMD "reference blower" 7770 and it REALLY struggles to do much any more. I built it into an otherwise low power system for a friend to play an early version of Civilization on.
