Question Cinebench 2024 stops mid GPU test

Today I was doing some overclock and had good success overclocking my CPU. I was using Cinebench 2024 to test it and had no issues.

Then I went to OC my GPU. Ran Cinebench GPU test in stock configuration first and it ran fine.

I used AMD Adrenaline software to do the OC. My first attempt was a manual overclock/undervolt. Second attempt was just staight forward Auto overclock. In both cases the changes were very mild.

Cinebench would begin the GPU test but just stop 6-8minutes into the test. No errors or anything. Actually said it was running, but the time stopped counting down, no rendering was happening, and all activity on the GPU fell back to idle.

Behind the Cinebench window, the computer was working, so it wasn't a CPU crash. Had to pull up task manager to end task to close Cinebench. Rebooted and reattempted several times, only when I went back to stock settings did it run the GPU test to completion.

Is this a Cinebench issue or is my GPU just junk and can't handle an overclock (seems to work pretty well for gaming), or could my overclocked CPU be somehow fowling things up (seems stable in games).

My system =
CPU = Ryzen 9 5900x (OC. to 4.5ghz)
GPU = RX 6700 XT (SAM Enabled)
MB = Asus TUF GAMING B5500M II with WIFI
WD Black 2 TB NVMe SSD
32 GB DDR 4 RAM 3200 (DOCP Enabled0

Maybe it raised temperatures
What is the 6700xt you have and what overclock did you do manually, tell me

Brand is a SWIFT309.
OC Max Freq 2692, (used Auto Overclock to get that number)
Min 2592,
Voltage 1175mV,
and also increase VRAM tuning to max (2150) and enabled Fast Tuning memory timing.

When that failed, when back to stock settings a ran auto overclock, which gave me Max Freq of 2692 again and left everything else at default. This also failed.

Temps didn't get out of control, mid 60s. I've got good cooling (air).
