Our company requires the services of a level 2 technician, who can visit our client's site in Sankt Gallen's area , Switzerland on 14th march 2016. The task requires 4 to 8 hours. Call cisco and ask for a recommendation for a partner who has certified technicians. I am assuming you are talk actual commercial router and not the consumer junk that was sold off to belkin and is still sold as linksys.

Yeah regarding commercial routers, not consumer stuff. I have contacted some employees from cisco, though they are in other cities around 3 hours away. So no luck as yet.

Seems simple enough. People knowing this stuff got to be Cisco Certified. Surely cisco maintains a membership database? Look for expired certifications if you must, if not too old maybe OK.

You do not really want to contact cisco employees. Cisco does not directly provide service to other than large enterprise customers and even then they generally bring in one of their partners. Partners are independent companies. These companies range from huge international companies to smaller local organizations. They are not cisco directly but cisco has all kinds of rules as to the standards their employees must meet.

Cisco has lists of partners on their site but this is one of the things they do have a special phone number for in most countries to get a recommendation. The partner indirectly pays for this referral service from cisco.

Although not the cheapest way to do it will be to call a larger international partner and then they will subcontract to another partner company without you having to run around and find out which partners have people in what cities.
