Question Clarification Regaring an Upgrade

Hey folks,
I've recently purchased a new mobo and cpu on my long and rather slow path to pc greatness. The mobo is the msi X870 tomahawk and the new and fresh 9800X3D cpu. My current GPU is a 4060 ti 8gb. I was wondering though as Im not sure how this kind of stuff works, what kind of peperformance boost can I expect? Will it be a massive one since Im moving up from an I7 9700k cpu? Or will the gpu really hinder the power of the 9800x3d?

I would say that you most likely will not see much improvement to average FPS, unless you play a very CPU heavy game. You may see some improvement in min FPS, and frametime consistency/stutter reduction though.

fametime consistency/stutter are my main issues tbh.. Nowadays dlss and frame gen are nearly a must for every game lol
