My wife bought a Surface and her colleague told her that her husband setup her Surface to be an identical clone of her Desktop, even with file syncing. So files added to her Desktop/Documents/Downloads etc.. on her desktop automatically show up on her Surface identically. If this just OneDrive? How do I make this possible?

I know if you use the same user account (Microsoft account) on 2 different PC then Sync will come into play. but from what I can tell in settings/accounts/sync your settings it doesn't include the same files. It will change desktop and match the theme, passwords, language, Ease of access & some other windows settings.

He may have also set her PC up to save everything to onedrive and then linked her library folders on laptop to the onedrive folders.

My install of win 10 at one stage decided it was going to use onedrive for all library folders anyway. You may have those set up already

edit: what he said :)
