Bought a 1tb ssd to upgrade my old PC

X58A-UD3R rev 2.0
I7 930 stock clock has ben oc before
2 x ( 3x2gb ) corsair ram
Hd 6750
850w master cooler silent, now 420w cool master.

Tried cloning old hdd to ssd got errors, ran chkdsk/f . System needed to restart went to restart black screen. Left it overnight still nothing. Turned off and ever since then cant boot into windows . Tried new install from usb and disc on the ssd, no luck. Everything loads like normal but after the bios screen it sits there with a black screen, all leds turn off and nothing happens.

Tried new power supply, re seating the CPU.

Plz help a noob. I just make beats so I'm not fussed about how old this is I just cant lose the data on here and yes I did not back up my system 🤦🏽‍♂️

What specific SSD?

After a failed clone, you do NOT run chkdsk. You try the clone again, from the start.
What tool did you use to clone this?
Please show us a screencap of the Disk Management window.

Biostar s120 1tb
I used macrium reflect v7 free version. I tried to restart cloning process multiple times with the same error. I cannot boot past the bios, I have attached a link to a video

Where exactly did the error appear? At what stage of the process?

-----------------------------
Specific steps for a successful clone operation:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration)
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
This is to allow the system to try to boot from ONLY the SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe all partitions on it.
This will probably require the commandline diskpart function, and the clean command.

Ask questions if anything is unclear.

The last partition 4 out of 4 , error 9 error 23.
I cant access anything at all, it goes past bios loading screen to a blank screen and stays like that. This happened after I ran chkdsk/f.
