Hello I just upgraded my laptop with a m.2 ssd because the hdd is very slow .
So here is my question, I got 2 partitions on the hdd a C: one where is the windows and a D: one where i have my data.
Is it possible by using easeus to only clone the windows partition (C: )(including the partition that i can't normally see in my computer) and leaving just the D: partition on the hdd?
Thanks!
Also, no time for a fresh windows install on ssd.

Then you take your chances.
I certainly wouldn't do this without a good backup. But then...I don't turn my PC on without a good backup.
The only thing I have to be afraid of is after I succesfuly cloned windows on my ssd is deleting the windows partitions? I mean if that's it I am pretty sure I won't missclick lol :))

I'd try Macrium, but, be prepared in case something goes wrong. (I used it for a clone for a laptop from HDD to SSD that included multiple partitions , including a recovery partition, just 3 days ago without issue...; however, I did the clone from my desktop, using the drives in an IcyDock 2.5"/3.5" removable drive bay)

The plan to do just WIndows, skipping the programs/data partition, and thinking all those programs will still work with a new fresh install to an SSD seems likely to have you reinstalling everything anyway...

I think i will just reinstall windows then

Also what app should I use after I install windows on the ssd to remove the windows partitions from hdd?
And is it possible to delete em from the windows setup? and just let D: there untouched?

Hi guys
I installed windows succesfuly but i have a problem!
I deleted all windows related including C partition from the hdd and i tried extending the D: partition with the unallocated space. But the space was before D: , not after.
When I tried to extend it (i know that is not possible now :) ) it converted it to dynamic disk.
How do i convert it back to a basic disk?
Tried minitool is not working!
