Cloning windows 8

Im planning to use acronis software to clone 90 PCs would that be ok? i work in a school lab and i was wondering if it's possible with such programs as Windows 8, mathematica, microsoft office 2013 pro etc

It should all clone just fine. The cloning software doesn't care what is on the hard drive, treats it all as dumb data. However some programs can be really rigorous on their activation protocols Windows for example keeps a log of what hardware it was installed on. So if you clone or just move the hard drive to a different computer with different hardware it will notice and likely demand you reactivate it.

Just cloning the drive to another better drive and putting them back into the same computer should cause zero issues.

Exactly what are you trying to accomplish?
If the clone process is to create a backup for each pc, cloning, (which is a bit for bit process)
of the installed drive to a backup is one thing and should work.

If you are setting up 90 new pc's and are trying to distribute the same software to each, that is different.
for such you might want to contact windows for better and more authoritative advice on the best strategy to deliver and manage windows on a bunch of pc's.

How, for example would you handle updates?
How would you recover a software environment after a virus, student hack, or simple mistakes.
