Question Close desktops, windows explorer crashes.

My dumb mind of mine decided to open 400+ desktops on my Surface go to, and when I try to close just one, windows explorer crashes, even if I do Ctrl + Alt + F4. Its making my computer super laggy and it cant load web pages properly, how can I close these without crashing?

Win + Ctrl + F4
hold win ctrl down and tap F4 a few times.

tried it in safe mode?
