I have the same Zoom modem. I can attest it works on both Comcast and WOW cable in my area.

Remember to call Comcast and tell them you need to provision a new modem. They'll ask for the MAC address and you're done. When I switched to this modem last summer (when I still had Comcast service), my speed nearly doubled.

Also, even if a lawyer wasn't afraid of Comcast, it wouldn't matter. They are in the back pockets of most politicians in our country and well above the law.
