Hi,

Was wondering if suggestions could be made for a commercial grade PC build for 12 computers in an orthodontic office. Needs to be fast and super reliable. A patient is seen every 15 minutes, so computers cannot freeze, slow down, crash, BSOD, etc. under any circumstances. Also needed for CAD/3d printing and CBCT (cone beam).

Where can I source commercial grade computer parts?

If prebuilt workstations are recommended over custom built, which brands and which models are the most reliable?

Thank you.

You're conflating multiple uses here.

A "server" to handle multiple simultaneous users?
Or a 'server' to handle files from multiple client systems?
And then the CAD/3D thing.

This requires multiple different systems.

No server. All cloud.
1 computer directly connected to CAD and runs CAD software
1 computer connected to the CBCT
8 computers for viewing cbct + direct practice management software + viewing 3d models
2 computers for practice management only
