How can I connect a Dell A10 924 printer to my Compaq2 Presario. Both work well but connectors don't match.

How can I connect a Dell A10 924 printer to my Compaq2 Presario. Both work well but connectors don't match.

As previously stated, the printer cable is for a USB port, but I do not see a port in the Compaq that will accept it. Am I missing something here: that maybe the Compaq has a USB port that I am not seeing? Where would I find this port on the Compaq? I appreciate your efforts.

It would not be the same port, the PC end looks like http://www.microsoft.com/library/media/1033/windowsxp/images/using/setup/hwprograms/67411-usb.jpg If you don't have any of those on the PC, you need to get an add-on card.
