just trying to find out if compaq presario 1230uk model pc is a hyper thread pc 3.0ghz

easy way to tell is open task manager - then select the performance tab.... then click on View / CPU History / One Graphc per CPU

if the chip installed does support HT the you will see two graphs for CPU useage
