[SOLVED] compare between 2 SSD

i am confused that which one Sata m.2 SSD is best for my Laptop .please give a sugg please which on is best for me . giving below list

1. Hp S700 Pro m.2 256 Gb

2. PNY CS2040 128GB M.2 2280 SSD

which is best in average ?

If this is for Windows 10, 128GB will soon get filled up so it isn't enough. So that rules out the PNY one.

256GB is is the minimum you should go for, but Samsung is better brand than HP where SSDs are concerned in my opinion.

The HP is an NVME (PCIE) drive and the PNY is a Sata drive.

Please verify that your motherboard supports both types in the M2 slot and if any Sata ports get disabled if you use it.

You typically can get a larger Sata M2 drive for the same money as the Hp S700 pro drive.

To compare the performance of two ssd devices, you might find them on anandtech ssd bench.

If your laptop supports m.2 pcie, those drives will be faster sequentially. They will also cost more than a sata version if you have the option to use either.

Larger drives usually perform better and have more endurance.

If you can use one, the samsung 970 evo plus is about the best you can buy.
