Compare sony and canon digital camera

Hello, i wish to purchase new Digital camera. Sony DSCw350 or Canon Ixus 100is? pl advise technically and features ++?

There are loads of review sites -- I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding these models listed.

For what it's worth, I'd avoid Sony cameras because they use expensive proprietary memory. I'd choose the Canon because it has an optical viewfinder as well as LCD -- you may not be able to see the LCD in really bright sunshine.
