Question Need Help Triple HDD Crash all files gone? All Hardrives say (Disk structure is corrupted and unreadable)

All the SMART reports are clean.

$Volume 01 on Disks 1 and 2 are showing EBCxx in the Indicators column of DMDE. This means that the NTFS file systems are damaged.

Disk 3 (ExtGameStr) appears to have an intact file system (EBCF). If you d-click the ExtGameStr volume and expand the $Root, you should see your file/folder tree. You can r-click your files and Recover them to another drive.

Ok that wont be too hard, what do i do about my other 2 drives with the EBCxx Error?

I would clone them and then run data recovery software against the clones. Do this via SATA, not USB.

You could try running CHKDSK in read-only mode (not repair mode). If it runs, it should tell you which metafiles are damaged. Running CHKDSK in repair mode is dangerous when your drive has serious problems. That's because Microsoft cares more about the integrity of the file system and will often sacrifice your files to this end.

Alright ill do my best to follow through on that, atm though I have no money for anymore HDD's as that was all my hard drives. It's going to be months before I can get enough money scraped together in order to attempt a clone \n/ recovery.

Also If I try running CHKDSK in read only mode and find which metafiles are damaged what should I do? Would it be possible to fix the metafiles and save all the data without a recovery method or is finding and repairing the metafiles almost as dangerous as recovery software can be?

It depends on the type of damage. Can you upload a log file for each CHKDSK run?

Can you identify which JMicron chip is inside your dock? Its ID might be reported in Device Manager.
