Comparison of haswell-e cpus. Help!

Lets look at these two cpus: i7-5960X and i7-5930K.
As far as I can see the 5960X got lower Ghz than 5930
5930X got 3.5GHz, while the 5960X got 3.0GHz. But at the same time the 5960X is way more expensive, which of them is better, and for what use?
Which is better for streaming, gaming, rendering and such?

the 5960x has eight cores (two more) making alot more powerful. They've also been built with the intention to overlcock so you can probably get the same overclocked speed out of them, give or take 300mhz.

That many cores doesn't help gaming so the higher speed would be better. Negligible though. But rendering and such is more multithreaded and would benefit.
