4 x Noctua NF-S12-1200 (1200rpm) versus 4 x Scythe S-Flex SFF21E (1200rpm)

Setup
Case: P180
Mobo: P5B Deluxe
CPU: e6400 (stock clock)
Fan Controller: Vantec Nexus 3.5" 7V-12V (4 fans)
CPU cooler: Tuniq Tower 120

The fan in the HDD/PS wind tunnel is the stock Antec fan set to low.

The four case fans are set as such:
Rear: exhaust
Top: exhaust
Front middle bay: intake
Front 5.25" bay: intake

I have a Scythe Fan Bay in the upper front three available 5.25" slots.

(All my HDDs are at the bottom PSU wind tunnel)

Prior to the test, the filters were cleaned.
Ambient air is 21C
The Tuniq Tower was always kept at the lowest setting.

Load temps were created by TAT
Temps were measured using Speedfan

CPU Idle temps
Fans to low
Noctua: 31
Scythe: 28

Fans to high
Noctua: 31
Scythe: 28

CPU Load temps
Fans to low
Noctua: 52
Scythe: 50

Fans to high
Noctua: 51
Scythe: 49

Sound: I do not have a soundmeter to measure the difference
My personal subjective evaluation is that they are pretty much on the
same sound level at both lowest and highest fan controller setting.
