Will a AMD FX-6100 cpu work with CorsairXMS3 12gb DDR3 2000 (pc3 16000) memory?

What is your motherboard? that would be the defining factor

The CPU will but you have to remember that 12GB kit was probably designed for LGA1366 which is triple channel. Get either two 8GB kits of Corsair DDR3 or a 16GB kit (2x8GB) since your system would only support dual channel.
