Can I use Sun workstation monitor with my pc (pentium 700 MHz CPU)? I have Nvidia Geforce DDR video card.

The monitor has a Sun logo; but I believe the model is 21" Sony FLAT GDM-5010 Pro 2048x1536 .24mm.

Also, what kind of connector do I need to use this monitor with my pc?

Thank you.

You'll probably need a card with bnc output. If you're into gaming this isn't your choice. This monitor is for use with a professional workstation setup, not for gaming. The bnc connectors allow for cleaner high resolutions demanded by graphics pros. So, you can use the monitor if you have the right card and don't mind the performance hit of a non-gaming card. I'm not sure if there is an adaptor, which could solve the problem.

Quality is better than name brand, even regarding beloved AMD.

I'm not sure what you mean. I can't say anything about sun monitors, but plenty of new monitors even in local stores come with BNC connectors. Sony g520 has both bnc and hd15.
