Hello, everyone! This is my first time posting here, so I apologize if I do not post this question in the correct place or if I do not present my concern well.
I am a PhD student who regularly uses deep learning methods for my research on natural language processing and classification applications. I have been using my university's servers and Google Colab to do GPU-based processing to date, but now I would like to build my own computer for running computationally-intensive analyses on large datasets. Below is what I have selected for my computer build so far. I have checked for cross-comparability between parts as well as I can using different websites; however, I've found that some details are still ambiguous (e.g., companies' compatibility sheets are outdated by 6+ months for some parts).
Processor: 1 X AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X (16-core/32-thread) Desktop Processor (YD195XA8AEWOF) (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B074CBH3R4/?coliid=I1ZSY3GG42WFUM&colid=1L0XW4IRC14KG&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it)
Motherboard: 1 X GIGABYTE X399 AORUS Gaming 7 (AMD Ryzen ThreadRipper TR4/ATX/3x M.2/WIFI/Front USB 3.1/RGB Fusion/Killer LAN/4 Way SLI Motherboard) (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0746CT3Y5/?coliid=I1Q035KL7O6V5P&colid=1L0XW4IRC14KG&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it)
Memory Cards: 1 X CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 3466MHz C16 Desktop Memory (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01CYILXA6/?coliid=I36518O7JLWB9N&colid=1L0XW4IRC14KG&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it)

Hard Drive 2: 1 X Toshiba X300 5TB Performance Desktop and Gaming Hard Drive 7200 RPM 128MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5 Inch Internal Hard Drive (HDWE150XZSTA) (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B013JPLKQK/?coliid=I190DADP78K1S5&colid=1L0XW4IRC14KG&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it)

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 80+ GOLD, 1300W Fully Modular NVIDIA SLI and Crossfire Ready 10 Year Warranty Power Supply 120-G2-1300-XR (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00COIZTZM/?coliid=I1L5QYQCO2UT5Z&colid=1L0XW4IRC14KG&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it)

Cooling: Enermax LIQTECH TR4 360mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooler Exclusive for AMD Threadripper Processor with 100% Str4 HIS Coverage, 500W+ TDP and Patented Shunt Channel Technology, ELC-LTTR360-TBP (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B074ZLQZG2/?coliid=I189QNW0SS0YLO&colid=1L0XW4IRC14KG&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it)
Operating System: Ubantu 18.04 (https://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop)
Specifically, I am concerned about whether the memory cards above are compatible with 1) my processor and 2) my motherboard -- and everything else for that matter, including my graphics cards. The Corsair website does not list up-to-date information about whether these cards will work with Threadripper processors or Gigabyte X399 motherboards at the memory cards' given size and speed. I have seen off-hand comments in reviews of the cards that they have worked for some users with my specs above, but I want to make sure I have more evidence before I spend that much money on them. Also, I am not sure if there will be any issues related to the fact that I will be using them on a machine with a Linux operating system instead of Windows.
If anyone else has any questions or concerns about the build I am proposing, please let me know (e.g., is my PSU too large, is my case too big/small for my parts, are any of these parts too fast/slow given the other parts' specs, will my memory cards work well with this build, etc). If I can get an even faster memory card set (like this: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B079P894GS/?coliid=IM05AXBBJEDQP&colid=1L0XW4IRC14KG&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it), then that would be great!
Thank you so much for your time and assistance!
Best,
Alex
Update: Here is a parts printout from https://pcpartpicker.com, which states I have no issues/incompatibilities: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/t6F98Y. Hopefully this is correct!
