The GIGABYTE B550 Gaming X motherboard and I'm planning to pair it with the AMD 5000 Series Ryzen 7 5800X desktop processor. I would like to confirm if this motherboard is compatible with the mentioned processor.

Additionally, considering that if the motherboard requires a BIOS update even today 2023 or it'll come updated from the manufacturer to support the AMD 5000 Series Ryzen 7 5800X processor.

Thank you in advance for your assistance

Take a look at my specs if any changes are required:

It should have the appropriate bios version already. It'll say so on box, 5th gen ready.

GIGABYTE B550 Gaming X does feature QFlash Plus, updating bios with unsupported cpu or without a cpu installed so you're good either way. But i think you'll be alright and cpu is fully supported out of the box.

Regarding your specs, id change the power supply. Corsair Rm650x 10yr warranty. Cv is lower end of quality, i wouldn't use it if i were you.
Oh thank you very much, yes I've got doubts about that, and what does it make a difference for that Corsair Rm650x and Corsair CV550, CV Series I mean in terms of what... just for the lower end of quality or other reasons?

This will work, because the motherboard has a weak VRM, its temperature will be high. Here, look at the Google spreadsheet and try to find something more interesting. Better to take the Gigabyte B550 Aorus ELITE V2 or Gigabyte B550M Aorus PRO-P. There are many other suggestions, so I recommend bookmarking this table.
