Compatibility question after upgrade

Hiya, i recently upgraded my graphics card and since then some games started getting choppy and when i complained in diablo chat they said i should check compatibility of graphics and ram, but i'm a complete noob, my specs are:
CPU intel i5 3.2 GHz
RAM DDR3 8GB 1600MHz
Card: GTX 970
Mainboard: Gigabyte B85M-D3H-A

whell if that start to happening when u installed new driver then u know the issue, just roll back driver and wait for next driver update, dont use this one obviously is some beta or something...

EDIT: sry i read it wrong....try to reset ur CMOS wiht pulling out BIOS battery for ~1min, next step check if ur BIOS have an update...

Could you tell me the specific model of your i5? Also, are you running borderless?

intel core i5-4460 socket 1150LGA
yeah, i play on fullscreen so i'd guess it is borderless
