[SOLVED] Compatible RAM not working at all with my setup

Hi, guys.

I just bought a Crucial 8gb 2666hz RAM to pair with my other one, older, LT 2400hz of the same brand, but it's not working at all. I have a Asus H110m motherboard and a G4560 CPU. Although none of those works in 2666, I assume it does for <2400? I already tried loading both and only 1 of them. When loading my pc with the older one as the main, it works but the new one isnt recognized at all. When trying loading with only the new one, my pc wont start. It's most probably not the slots, since the main slot works fine with the older one.

Probably the new RAM is just defective?

NOw the one old wont work. But the new it's working, so its not defective. The new one is at the second slot (edit: it wouldnt boot as the first slot) (third, according to CPU-Z), and the old one is at the first slot, but it's not wokring (not being recognized). Should I turn off XMP? It's on, but the target is 2133hz

didnt it resets when you load defaults? well my point here is just disable xmp and force speed to 2133mhz, why even using xmp for mixed ram?

yes, reset the bios, just do that, and dont use any xmp profiles.

Should i do that with the f5 button inside the setup? Cause still isnt recognizing the first slot RAM. Or should I use the motherboard button?

edit: @Koekieezz k, it works. I took the RAM out then putted again. I may have plugged wrong, prob cause I was afraid it break something. Sorry about that. But its working now, both of them. 2400hz, dual channel. no xmp either. https://ibb.co/Hr9hn7w

it's up to you, point is, bios is clear and free. easy but some hassle way is to unplug psu from power, take off motherboard battery, hold power button for 11 seconds, puut back the battery, and power up the pc again.
