Good morning. I just recently moved my PC and found that it wouldn't boot or POST after I hooked it back up. I have a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum mobo. It seems the bridge chip fan had stopped (it must've had a bad bearing or something, half the fan was eaten away). Anywhat, I don't think it's salvageable and I need to replace it. I'm not sure what would be a sufficient replacement, however. Is there anything special I need to consider when replacing the board? Do any of you have recommendations of mobos (and if possible, bundles with a new CPU) that would work well? I'm not running SLI and I have 4 1GB sticks of RAM. The proc has been the bottleneck in the past, so I'd like to swap that in the process if possible. Oh yeah, and I'm on a budget Speaking of which, I've found the exact board, but at a $125 price tag, which seems far too expensive for just this old board. Maybe it's that much because there's such a low volume of stock for it, I don't know. Any way you guys could help would be awesome.
