Afternoon all,

I'm trying to fix an issue at the moment where there appears to be no power going to my computer. It was working fine, but now nothing, no fans, no lights etc. I was looking at various settings in the bios not long before it packed in but don't believe I chose the brick it option! The only time it seems to be receiving power correctly now is when I press the q flash button. I've tried a different power supply but no joy, and the fact that it powers with q flash also confirms to me that isn't the issue. I've re-assembled the entire pc to check all of the cabling but nothing. Any ideas?

Did the power just cut off while you were using it or was it cut off and now won't turn on?
If it just won't turn back on then jump the power pins out on the motherboard it could just be the power switch on the case.

The computer was switched off and now just wont turn back on. Jumping the power switch sadly didn't work although you did give me a moment of hope, so thank you! I'm thinking there may be a fault on the motherboard somewhere.

You can try the paperclip power supply test, this is not a absolute test it just says the PSU works enough to turn the fan on.

Already tried with a different PSU but exactly the same issue. I wasn't aware of this test though. Very useful, thank you.
