First post (woo hoo)
I want to buy a good Monitor for my first computer. I want the monitor to run high quality images from the DVI connector, so good PC images for games. I found this
http://www.savastore.com/productinfo/product.aspx?catalog_name=Savastore&product_id=10278586

Aparently its quite good.

This is the main question though.
I want the monitor for playing consoles too. That means component video, the yellow connector plug from consoles, dvds and such.

That monitor does not have a component video input so I need another way. TV boxes seem a good option. I dont want the PC on when Im playing a console so PCI TV cards are out of the question.

I have found these.

and
http://www.dabs.com/uk/productview.htm?quicklinx=31M4&refererid=EH (if link doesnt work just copy it into the address bar.)

Are these ones a good choise for console gaming? Are there any better?

Thanks

I also want to know that. :) Many people want to know, few people actually do. I have looked around, seen some TV-tuner cards and boxes, but how can I be sure if it will work? I also have a 1xDVI/2xVGA monitor.

Seems like the AverMedia TV box 9 you found seems like a good solution. I have used AverMedia products before and they are good.
