Composite Cable to VGA/DVI/HDMI converter/adapter

So I was looking to get an RCA to VGA(or some other input) cable so I may connect my Gamecube to my monitor. I was looking at getting this

However, the reviews show that this isn't the cable that I'm looking for, as it will produce a green tint to the screen. What cables/adapters should I look for? Or is this the right one after all?

RCA is a connector type. It is not descriptive of your video signal. What type of video signal do you have ? Composite video, component video ? What type of signal does your game cube output ? Ex. a single yellow RCA connector means composite video. Three ( Red-Green-Blue ) RCA connectors mean the vido signal is component. Component video signal could be analog or digital.

It's a composite video. It has a red and white audio jacks and a yellow video jack.

Would this be the kind of thing i'm looking for?

Yes, it can be a solution. You have to convey audio with a separate cable from source to VGA device or to an audio device, though.
