Hey guys! thanks for taking the time to look at this
Just wanted to know your opinions on this build and what i should change? my only real question is about the motherboard and cpu(its between the i7 4790k and i5 4690k)

The build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/d6GTNG
Let me know what you guys think, and what youd change thanks!

also i have windows 7 home premium, is it worth upgrading to windows 8.1?

Solution
Good build, and i would stay with windows 7 home premium. Only get windows 8.1 if you want to get every single drop of FPS out of your system and/or are going to install more than 16GB of RAM.

Here are a few things i'd change:

Get Vengeance PRO memory, newer, looks better, and most importantly has better heatsinks than the original vengeance.

And also get the Samsung 850 EVO, the latest and one of the fastest SSDs on the market.

If you have the money you might as well buy the i7 although and i5 would be more practical if your only gaming. Also that Corsair SSD isn't all that great I would recommend a Samsung 850 Pro or an Adata sp 920. Also imho I'd get the Fractal Design Define R5 awesome case! About the OS theres nothing wrong with Windows 7. I personally like the look and feel of Windows 8.1, but it's not worth the upgrade wait until windows 10 😉 Hope this helped!
