Hey guys, I've been planning for some time to upgrade my PC, and have already decided on which all parts to buy. My present rig is this -

i5 760 processor 2.8GHz
MSI Gtx 460
Some 4GB RAM (I'm not sure which one)
H55 chipset Intel motherboard
Cooler Master Elite 310 ATX Case, along with another cooler master PSU (again, not sure how much wattage).

The reason I don't know many parts is cos my dad assembled this PC like 6 years ago, so I was just a kid back then :p

Anyway, I'm planning to get myself this rig -

i5 4690k processor 3.5GHz-3.9GHz (+overclocking)
MSI Z97 PC Mate Mobo
G.Skill 1×8 GB Ripjaws RAM
Asus Strix GTX970

Now here I run into the problem. Will my current case be able to properly fit all these parts? The case can allow for 2 additional fans (it comes fitted with one), and I'm planning to buy one for the side panel. Do I require more if I'll overclock CPU and GPU? And will all this fit properly with 3 fans in this case?

If this case won't be good enough, then for this rig, can you recommend to me the cheapest available case? My budget is anyway stretched even if i dont buy a case, so please, the case should be cheapest in terms of price, yet having decent utility. I dont mind a Case+PSU but just case is fine too. I plan to buy Seasonic S12G 620W PSU if the case doesn't have one.

Thank You :)

assuming your other computer was a custom build, cases and motherboards are standardized. atx to be specific. if your old motherboard looks about roughly the same size as your new motherboard, everything will fit.

just a side note, you are going to want 2x4 gb of ram. ram is dual channel, ie you need to to run at optimum speeds.
