Recently, whenever playing a game, my computer would completely black screen and shut down in even the most basic games.
Specs:
GPU: Gigabyte 3070 OC Edition (Rev 2 I think)
CPU: Intel i5 11400F
RAM: 2x8 GB Kingston HyperX Predator
RAM: 2x8 GB Kingston HyperX Beast (idk the specific frequencies of each but I do know that they're both running at 3200 MHz)
PSU: EVGA SUPERNOVA 750 B1 SEMI MODULAR 80+ BRONZE RATED PSU
Motherboard: Gigabyte B560M DS3H
When it first happened, I checked event viewer which told me "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."
I got the same error when I used a 550 watt psu (as expected).
I put the GPU and PSU into another system (no clue what the specs are but I know it had only 8 GBs of RAM at 2400 MHz). It didn't crash but I think it's because of the system bottlenecking the GPU.
These are the power draw readings for the GPU (in watts) leading up to a crash.
Is it a GPU or PSU problem?
Edit: RAM I don't think RAM is the issue. I checked each kit of RAM on their own in different channels too and the problem persisted.
