Computer doesn't find second graphic card

Hello there! I'm having a problem with my very old grahpic card [Nvidia Geforce 6150SE nForce 430] and I want to put in a second graphic card but my pc doesn't seem to find the second one. The old one is integrated into the motherboard so my friend thinks that may be part of the issue. Thanks in advance for any help I get!

you cant put 2 cards of different models. you need a same type of card. For ex: GTX 660 and another GTX 660.

Is there any way of removing the integrated graphic card or any way of just shutting it down?

go to the bios and see the settings
should have something about using integrated gpu or the pci one

Yeah but it just doesn't seem to register the second graphic card, can't see to find it and it's put in there correctly.
