Computer freezing and beeping while gaming

Hey guys,

I'm having a problem with my computer while gaming. I would play games like Heroes of Newearth or Diablo 3. I would play the game and suddenly it would freeze and my motherboard will beep, the sound it makes when it turns on. It would stay frozen until I turned it off. I would then turn my computer back on and maybe watch a movie or something and the same problem would occur. This only happens after I play a game. If I leave my computer off for a while and sign on again it would run normally.

What would happen is it would beep once, and then the screen would freeze, very rarely it wouldn't beep and it would just freeze.

whats your pc specs and what game are you trying to run ?

Processor: Intel Pentium III Xeon, 2933 MHz (6 x 489)
Memory: 2048MB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 (1024 MB)
Motherboard: unknown
Sorry I checked my PC and it says my motherboard is unknown.
This problem started at the start of this year and since then I have been playing on my laptop.
The games that I have played on this computer were Heroes of Newearth and Diablo 3 and they both have the same problem.
I haven't tried other games out yet.

It could be the 6pin power cables which go to the GPU card or even the 4pin cpu cable not being able to supply enough current, sometimes it can happen when a molex to 4 or 6 adapter is being used.
