Hi there,

I am currently at my wits end with my computer. Its a self build that I have upgraded over a number of years and I have never had any issues like I am currently having. When I am playing certain games WoW or Hunt Showdown for example, I get periodic hard crashes, not the game crashing, the whole pc powers off and then reboots. I've carried out stress testing for 40mins using OCCT and I had no issues come up. I've turned settings in the games to the lowest possible settings, I've made sure I have nothing else running while playing them. At this stage I've completely reinstalled windows twice, once keeping my files and once just wiping everything. I've reseated the RAM and the GPU. I've ran windows Memory Diagnostic to check if the RAM is corrupt. So I am now on a fresh install of windows and the problem persists.

Ive been reviewing the Event Viewer and all I can glean from there is that there is a critical error which is the PC shutting down unexpectedly.

Im not sure what other system information is needed but see below for System Summary:

PSU= corsair cx 750m 3 years old ish. Was bought new.

1tb 860 Evo m.2 drive
1tb 860 Evo ssd
WD blue 1tb drive.

All drives have recently been formatted so they are basically empty.

Heavy gaming and working. The pc is my work machine as well. Heavier draw games ie cyberpunk run fine with no issue. Only a select few games seem to cause this issue.
