Hello all.

I recently moved and when I went to hook up my computer it wouldn't work. It would start, fans would run, but none of the display ports work, graphics card or motherboard. I know it isnt the display or cords since it runs my consoles fine.

After a bit it would no longer spin the fans it would just turn off and stop., I replaced the power supply, fans worked again and seemed to be doing better but same issue. I replaced the CMOS battery since I had one lying around and something new happened. At first, only one of the red lights in the bottom corner came on, but I did not pay attention to which.

After I replaced the battery, it now switches between CPU and DRAM and it restarted for a second before running the fans again. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do next in this regard? The only change was the power supply, I saw posts saying about doing something with the BIOS but I am unsure how to do that especially without a display.

Any help or recommendations would be helpful, here is a link for my motherboard.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model.

The only change was the power supply,
Please elaborate.

Sounds like a BIOS issue...assuming it actually. Try and use this video;

to reflash the BIOS on the motherboard. Different motherboard but the principle remains the same.

I apologize, let me rectify that now.

CPU: Intel Core i7-11700K - 11th Gen
CPU Cooler: Enermax LIQMAX III 240
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z590 AORUS Elite AX
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (x4)
SSD: Samsung 980 Pro SSD 1TB PCIe 4.0
GPU: MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3070 8GB
PSU: Corsair RM850 Full Modular which I replaced with MSI MAG A850GL
Chassis: Antec Dark League DP502 Flux
OS: Windows 10 Home 64 bit
Monitor: HP - 25x 24.5" LED FHD

Aside from the monitor and the new PSU that I replaced earlier today, which is what I mean by that is the only thing I changed, I did not replace any other parts, The entire rig was built in 2022.

Is that sufficient? I included links to everything in case what I wrote wasn't specific enough.

Awesome! I was able to finally get it going. I had a few more issues that I had to fix after I flashed. NOTE: To anyone else who has this motherboard, the Q-Flash button is not near the USB ports it is on the bottom of the board near the LED lights for CPU DRAM and such.

I had to replace the cable for my GPU, then it would only boot with Ram in slots 1 and 3. Not sure if it is a slot issue, ram card issue or boot failure. When I had all 4 in, it would get stuck on DRAM when booting. I have it running with 2 so I am getting 32gb of RAM which should be more than enough for awhile, I will tackle the other issue some other day.
