I recently replaced my SSD with my OS and did a complete redo of my system. This new system has one problem. I want to leave it on 24/7. This shouldnt be a problem at all --- you can see thew specs in my signature. One reason I know it shouldnt happen is because the same specs were run on a previous version of this comp and I never ever had issues with it.

When I use my computer just after it's been on all night downloading stuff, etc , it's super slow. We're talking massive lag when using youtube or having more than 1 tab open in firefox.

Any ideas? Thanks a lot for the help.

Edit: I actually left out my specs. Sorry. Here thhey are

Haswell i5, GTX 660, 240GB SSD (with OS), 8gb ram. Very clean comp, only maybe 6 programs every running at a time (not counting windows stuff).

I'd check task manager and see what's using your resources. Sounds like a memory leak in a program. Is cpu usage high? Memory maxed out? Something should look out of place if you look when your system has slowed down.
