Question Computer keeps crashing under load?

I have a question since i know nothing about PC building and repairing.
I have a build PC (by my friend), I use it for photo and video editing and it works well for that. But when I play games the pc crashes. Sound gets stuck for a second and the screen turns black, the pc is still running but nothing is working and the DRAM light turns on on the motherboard.
When I take out and reinsert the RAM it works again like nothing happened. I seriously have no idea what is the problem and how to solve it. Any help please?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

We're going to need more information from your end. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:

Check to see the BIOS version at the moment of writing. If you're on Windows 10, please state the version(not edition) of the OS. With regards to your ram, if possible, power down the system, remove the stick(s) of ram(s), use an eraser to clean the gold contacts on the stick(s) of ram(s), remove any debris and then reseat the stick(s) of ram(s).

Speaking of ram, what slots are you populating on the motherboard? Please include the age of the PSU if it's been in service for a while, aside from it's make and model. When the issue crops up, use HWMonitor to keep an eye on temps.

The temperatures are down always, even when im editing 4K video, it never had problem with overheating.
Ram sticks are in slots 1 and 2, we tried running it in every possible slot and it happens everytime.
Most of the components were bought new in May last year. Only GPU and PSU are used sourced from a friend. GPU is probably 9 years old and PSU is probably 10 years old. Both are going to replaced soon. I want to buy new GPU this month.
