Computer keeps freezing

I am trying to OC my q6600 GO to 3.6ghz the problem is that every oc no matter how minor my computer just keeps freeing any advice.


780i sli ftw antec 1200 silverstone st1000w psu 2x 8800gtx Q6600 GO xigmatek s1283 w/ bracket

at load temps are mid 50 stock idle mid 40 stock.

What type of memory and amount do you have?

Download and run Memtest 86+ at stock 2.4ghz and make sure your memory is ok first.

At what point in the OC does your system freeze up? Are you doing incremental overclocking or just trying for 3.6ghz?
