Need to know how to get rid of pinstripe vertical lines on computer monitor. I have a VAIO laptop.

do you mean the screen on the laptop

if it is.. plug it in to an external monitor..

if it does the same then its a motherboard fault which requires a bga repair ( usuall caused by an nvidia video card )

if it doesnt show it on the screen, then it is either the laptop screen it self of a cable which connects the board to the screen.

Vertical pinstrips, need a new screen, the video card has gone bad or if video card it shares main memory, thats gone faulty.
