Computer mouse right side problems

I play a computer pool game that requires using both sides of the mouse.
The left side is for aiming and the right side is for shooting. Whenever I press the right side to shoot , a message bar comes up and I am unable to shoot.
I have a mac computer. Can anyone help me to deactiivate the message bar?
