windows 7 64bit
getting from speccy:

Type DDR3
Size 12288 MBytes
Channels # Triple
DRAM Frequency 534.7 MHz
CAS# Latency (CL) 7 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD) 7 clocks
RAS# Precharge (tRP) 7 clocks
Cycle Time (tRAS) 20 clocks
Command Rate (CR) 2T

6 slots of 2gb each

but then i test it on performance test 7.0 and it says
each of the six slots have 1024mb @ 1066mhz

also when i checked the bios i believe it also said 1024 @ 1066

the ram is "supposed" to get 2048 @ 1333mhz for each slot, i was wondering if there was something wrong??

motherboard is Acer
Model Aspire G7750 (CPU 1)
cpu intel i7 950

any info would be appreciated

I'm not sure what you're problem is.

If your problem is that your RAM is not running at the correct speeds, then change the timings in BIOS.

If your problem is that Specy doesn't see all your RAM. I don't think you need to worry about that. It only matters if BIOS and task manager can see your RAM.

i can change timings in bios, but the 1066mhz is only recognized and cannot be changed, but im supposed to get 1333mhz.

Edit: looked up on intels website and it says i7 950 memory bandwidth 800-1066. Does this mean my ram is maxed out and the processor can't use any more?

ive been reading others having problems getting past 1066 with the ram, but i found they were manually able to change the ram multiplier to 10 (10x133) to get their 1333 and then manually inputting latency times.

I just figured out what some of this stuff is, and tried setting it manually in my bios and once i saved and exited and then read the benchmark nothing changed.

Ive tried 1066 at tigher latencies, 1333 at 9-9-9- 8-8-8- etc. nothing saves. But when i go back into the bios to see if it reset, all my manual configurations are still there. I pulled the cr3032 battery, cleared it, and replaced with new and still no luck. Is something wrong with my bios or something wrong with my cpu?
